Cookies
Korea Trip Planner doesn’t set cookies of its own and doesn’t use advertising cookies today.
On the live site, Google Analytics sets two cookies: “_ga” and “_ga_GL2JYY2MTL”. They hold a random visitor id and session data so Google Analytics can count visits. They last up to two years.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these cookies are not set. We don’t show a cookie banner today because we don’t set non-essential cookies in those regions.
Advertising (planned)
We plan to show Google AdSense ads once Google approves the site. No ads are shown and no ad cookies are set until then.
When ads start, Google and the ad companies it works with may set cookies, such as “__gads” and “__gpi”, to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure results, and may use them to personalize ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we will ask for your consent through a consent tool certified by Google first. We will list the cookies here before ads go live.
Trailers
Nothing from YouTube’s player loads until you press play on a trailer. Once you do, YouTube may set cookies or use similar storage in your browser under its own policy.
Browser storage
To keep your recent trips and planner answers on your device, the site uses your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB. To work offline, a service worker keeps a copy of pages and site files you have visited in the browser’s cache. None of this is sent to us or used to track you. It is needed for the planner to remember your trips and open them without a connection.
How to remove it
Clear the site data and cookies for scenetotrip.com in your browser settings. Your saved trips and planner answers will be deleted.
If this changes
If we add advertising or more analytics, we will list every cookie here and ask for your consent before setting anything that isn’t strictly needed.
